Introducing NewsGroups for CPA Firm/Network Administrators

NewsGroups are a powerful tool that you probably already have built in to your email software. They are based on a standard NNTP news server platform. Don’t let all this technical lingo scare
you – If you have Outlook or GroupWise, you already have the ability! Also, news readers are available for free download if you don’t have one already.

NewsGroups work better because:
- You get a better response rate to your question
- More people get to see your posting
- Historical postings are all kept together for future reference
- If you know how to send an email, you know how to use NewsGroups!
- CPA Firm and Network Administrators are often lone individuals in an office.
Newsgroups allow them to share knowledge in a group forum.

If you are not sure how to configure, contact your network administrator or you may email the NewsGroups manager listed below. Following is what you need to set up:

News (NNTP) Server: news.veemost.com
Newsgroups available: firm.administrator.cpaadmin.org
network.administrator.cpaadmin.org
